Focusing on the nails, they create a delicate whole of 20 details. Nails highlight your technical knowledge, your artistic skills and the cleanliness of your work.

For me, the fingernails and toenails are like 20 little lights that delineate the end of my artwork on the upper and lower extremities and will contrast in color, appearance, texture and size with the rest of my creative work in the reborn kit.

The fingers and nails vinyl is usually more unstable in terms of its ability to adhere and, therefore, it is easy to get them dirty even if you work clean.
My key to achieving a realistic effect is to paint these delicate areas with mastery and patience.

The hands and feet of our kits are decisive parts of our work. I always select the kits based on the sculptural quality of the hands and feet because I consider them the most beautiful and complex when the sculpture work is harmonious and realistic.

I will not expand on hands and feet as, for this purpose, I have created a specific tutorial course to create "Realistic Hands and Feet & Dry Skin Effect".

IMPORTANT.- This course is designed to work with vinyl kits and Heat Set Paints and Mediums like Genesis and BC Heat Set Paints. It also could be suitable for air-drying paints, as long as you use the Mediums and drying retarders for this technique




In terms of methodology, I focus on literally teaching my technique: what I do, how I do it and why I do it.

My Tutorial Course includes Support Videos that illustrate the main steps of the process.
In this case, we are going into a tiny world of nuances to create that translucent, soft and fragile look where rushing is not allowed. Painting lightly kills the chromatic richness of the nails and makes them dirty and, therefore, soils your work.

SUPPORTING VIDEOS

In the videos, you will be able to watch the creative process. Due to the small size of the nails, there are parts in which the images are not as sharp as in my other tutorials because I have prioritized that you can see the process as closely as possible.
All the videos are complemented with guide notes. You also have all the detailed steps in the pdf of the tutorial course.
